The projects of this ministry are not funded in any way by either the Association or Unity Institute.
Unity of the Black Hills is funded entirely by SPIRIT through the loving channels of dedicated members and friends like You!

Unity's Five Basic Principles
God is the source and creator of all. There is no other enduring power. God is absolute good and is everywhere present.
We are spiritual beings, created in God’s image and likeness. The Spirit of God lives within each person; therefore, all people are inherently good.
We create our life experiences through our ways of thinking, our attitudes, and our habitual states of mind and heart.
Our lives can be changed and transformed through the power of affirmative prayer, forgiveness, and unconditional love.
Knowledge of these spiritual principles is not sufficient. We must live them as well.

What is Unity?
Unity was founded in 1889 in Kansas City, Missouri, by Charles and Myrtle Fillmore. Unity is a not-for-profit organization based on the teachings of Jesus and the healing power of prayer. In fact, after Mrs. Fillmore's remarkable healing using prayer and affirmations, many friends became interested in how she accomplished this healing. This was the beginning of Unity's growth from small prayer circles and study-groups in living rooms to the worldwide movement it is today! Our world headquarters in UNITY Village, Missouri, provides a tranquil atmosphere for quiet meditation and a place for all people, regardless of faith or nationality, to worship.
